DARIO BALLANTINI "Fake Identities" - Fiumano Fine Art Gallery - LONDRA 31st January - 5th February 2011
Dario is unafraid to experiment with his medium of choice, thickly impasto acrylic paint on canvas or board. The majority of his works are on a large scale, allowing him complete freedom to manipulate and control the paint with mastery and bravado.
Dario Ballantini is one of the most exciting contemporary artists working in Italy today. His natural flair combines with a deep academic understanding of his place within western art history and contemporary society. In his canvases he may be blurring the boundaries between reality and fantasy but his identity as a serious and highly collectable contemporary artist is unwavering.
The exhibition runs from the 31st January - 5th February 2012. Gallery opening hours during the exhibition will be Tuesday - Friday 11-6, Saturday and Sunday from 12-4.
